At Your Service is a distributor of promotional products based in California. They specialize in imprinting names, logos and slogans on any product for promotional or gift needs.
Before coming to Graphicon Services, At Your Service had an existing web site that had been developed several years earlier and was being maintained in-house (figures 1, 2). At Your Service decided that the time had come to revamp the site, anticipating that out-sourcing the design would offer both a high level of artistic and technological advantages by having Internet specialists develop the web site.
Graphicon Services first met with key members of At Your Service to learn about their organization, its goals and what they specifically wanted to deliver through the web site. These sessions enabled Graphicon Services to put together a thorough proposal that outlined the process for developing a web site that Graphicon Services felt would accurately meet all the objectives set forth by At Your Service.
During the development phase, Graphicon Services adhered to strict quality assurance standards which it confirmed by having the web site officially tested to meet with two vital standards: W3C HTML 4.01, for web page coding; W3C CSS 2.0 for presentation coding. Additionally, Graphicon Services performed a comprehensive assessment to verify that the site complied with rigorous internal quality standards. These standards ranged from grammar & spelling to verifying all page & email links.
Now the web site is delivering a complete listing of product offerings through an easy-to-navigate web site (figure 3). Feedback on the site has been great. At Your Service is now launching an Internet marketing campaign to deliver highly targeted traffic to the site.
