Before coming to Graphicon Services, Immco Diagnostics had an existing web site that had been developed and was being maintained in-house. Immco Diagnostics decided that the time had come to revamp the site, anticipating that out-sourcing the design would offer both a high level of artistic and technological advantages by having Internet specialists develop the web site.
Graphicon Services first met with key members of Immco Diagnostics to learn about the organization, its goals and what they specifically wanted to deliver through the web site. These sessions enabled Graphicon Services to put together a thorough proposal that outlined the process for developing a web site that Graphicon Services felt would accurately meet all the objectives set forth by Immco Diagnostics.
The requirements called for a database of products and services that would be maintained by staff members at Immco Diagnostics. Additionally, if a distributor logged in successfully, customized pricing and product information would be available throughout the product sections.
The project also called for the creation of an entire section of the web site, commonly known as an extranet, where clients could access test results online. This system involved extensive integration with the company’s internal information system.
During the development phase, Graphicon Services adhered to strict quality assurance standards which it confirmed by having the web site officially tested to meet with two vital standards: W3C XHTML 1.0, for web page coding; W3C CSS 2.0 for presentation coding. Additionally, Graphicon Services performed a comprehensive assessment to verify that the site complied with rigorous internal quality standards.
Now the web site is delivering up-to-date news & events, a complete listing of product & service offerings, client test results and distributor pricing through an easy-to-navigate, visually appealing web site.
